A couple? I was in the grocery store buisness almost 3 years, and worked at far more than 1 store.
it's not just "a couple people".... it's a whole lot of people. I'm talking hundreds of people easily... I'd help a hundred people in a day easily! and over the course of 3 years, .... think about the numbers.

if you think about religious organizations....
they are tax exempt... and received countless
sponsorship under the governement.... and yet,
they hardly do shit in regards to helping the
poor....

that... but they aren't really HELPING....

payment after firing 30,000 employees from his
business. he also received $1 billion dollars
from the government to cover the cost of his
plant shutting down and $330 million for acquiring
a subsidiary. $20,194 for golf balls for his
executives.... $7,589 for an xmas party....
$4032 for volleyball, $8964 for softball and $4482
for scorekeepers for his company games.

in 1989, edward brennan, CEO of sears roebuck
received $280 million dollars to save sears from
going bankrupt... including $178 million in
tax breaks and $61 million from the local state
treasury for a new sears site. 4 years later,
sears fired over 50 thousand employees, 5 thousand
of those fired were from illinois... the same
place he received the state treasury donation.

the federal government gives $11 million to
pillsbury to promote the dough boy in foreign
countries....

special tax cuts allow royal carribean to feign
taxes for 4 years... giving them a $158 million
profit.

for almost 10 years, mcdonalds received $1.6
million dollars (each year) for advertising its mcnuggets
in singapore....


these are all examples of how big companies
suckle on the government and screw the tax
payers.... for something they could easily
pay for themselves....

and yet, you find it appropriate to bitch about
people that barely make enough money to buy
food.....or shelter....

I have NO PROBLEM, with those people who WORK... and HAVE TO HAVE AID... those people are FINE.
My complaint is with those who DO NOT WORK... and do not TRY to find jobs. For the 3rd time. Christ almighty, have you read any of my posts?
AND.... to make things a little clearer... buisness' do that, because... well.... that's buisness. It's a dog eat dog world out there. Those people obviously had to work to get where they are now. Not like some low-life who sits around, and doesn't even look for a job. I am not gonna criticize someone who put their neck out there, busted a few balls, cut back on some overhead, and was a shrewd buisnessman.

Ya but from his view point I understand him. I worked in a grocery store an this guy would come in and buy the really big containers of formula for his kid or the liquid stuff. about $80 worth in food stamps or gov coupons . he would then bring them back ALWAYS on a Friday or SAT and say his kid couldnt drink the stuff and wanted his money back. On the reciept back then I dont think it showed how you paid so he always got cash. He then would journey down the street to the bar where you know he spent the $80 on drinks for himself. Made ya hate him cause you SAW IT UP FRONT and opposed to the big city big wig who sits at home and snorts coke line by line laffing at who he is gonna cut next to pay for his new SUV

but regardless, this man found a way to exploit
the system... and shouldn't be denounced because
of his methodology.

it is insignificant whether this man works or not.
the fact of the matter is that he is exploiting
the system just the same and a CEO getting tax
cuts and firing people.... or your friendly
neighborhood preacher living off others (because
